West Coast

From Namaqualand to the Sandveld

A five-star 4x4 adventure route exploring the

West Coast

The West Coast and Namaqualand is one of the most sparsely populated areas of South Africa, yet of the most beautiful and interesting regions. On the tour we visit an area where millions of carats of diamonds were mined, where the Cape fur seal thrive in the nutritionally rich Benguela current, where many ships ran around and where a floral splendor awakes each winter. This is the land of stories that will capture your imagination when people like Gert Sarrisam tell them.

The West Coast is not the ultimate 4x4 challenge, yet it tests your ability on sand and gravel. Skillful guides will help you navigate through the obstacles and assist if recovery is needed.

This is the reason we drive 4x4’s and camp in the open – it allows us to rediscover some of the gems, hidden on the other side of the dune. The West Coast Tour will let you return a richer and more fulfilled person.
